Okay, okay, okay enough's enough.
I'll step out of normal character here for a second due to the nature of the discussion and say this:
I can see where this thread is going and I don't like it. Please be respectful of others, even if you're only ribbing them.
Understand that there are many words (in the English language especially) that are offensive to others. Understanding both the intent and the etymology of those words is equally as important as the word itself. Taking a word like "******" and saying it applies to the word "S******" would be incorrect. To get upset about it would be fruitless. Etymology of the word does not match the one you've just given it.
Words only have power when given. To those who wish to offend others with a word: stop. Conversely, to those who wish to find offense in a word: lighten up, there may be many different uses and spellings of a word that are unoffensive.
As a member of (2) minority groups myself, I've come across many derogatory terms (aimed at me) in my time, and have never once given any time to it. While it is inconsiderate of the other person to deride me, it would be a waste entirely to get upset about the situation.
So---
Take a time out here a second from this thread.
Step back, calm down, and please come back in a fashion that takes neither side, as someone is bound to start a fight.

Just something I missed though, about cigarettes in Britian they are called****s, as in "I fancy a****" - what does this mean in the USA?
Also, ****ed meaning annoyed was an interesting one after I realised what they meant
An educated person in the USA would know both meanings and be offended by neither.
